Law Education at University of Southampton

Law at Southampton offers a flexible programme approach, while providing expert tutors, a research led curriculum and links to industry. The core modules, such as Criminal Law, Land Law and The Law of Torts, provide a strong foundation of knowledge which can be built upon through the choice of the optional or interdisciplinary modules of which there are over 25.

At Southampton, students are encouraged to challenge themselves and gain experience by utilising the different university schemes. Experience law in action by applying to shadow a senior member of the judiciary in the High Court or Court of Appeal, engage with academic research groups such as the Institute of Maritime Law and engage in pro bono volunteering initiatives.
