University of Nottingham
The University of Nottingham was founded in the northern England, Nottingham in 1881 with the name of ‘University College Nottingham’. The college was awarded the Royal Charter and became The University of Nottingham in 1948.

About the University
Having one of the largest and most beautiful campuses in England, the University of Nottingham has grown in recent years and expanded its borders by opening new campuses abroad. The University of Nottingham was awarded the ‘Queen Entrepreneurship Award’ in 2001, succeeding in establishing the first British campus university in Malaysia and China.
The largest campus of the University of Nottingham, University Park, is a student hub with various halls of residences, classrooms with award-winning architecture, research centres, conference and fair halls, student societies, many restaurants and entertainment centres. The university’s own health centre provides students and staff with the opportunity to benefit from this health centre under NHS (National Health Services).
Nottingham, named as the city of Robin Hood, stands out as an artistic and historical city where medieval and modern constructions can be experienced. Having plenty of green areas in the city, the university also provides a wide range of socialization opportunities for students with its advanced sports centres, art galleries and theatre halls.
