About the University

Located in the heart of London, the university includes the faculties of Arts and Humanities, Building Studies, Engineering Sciences, Law, Life Sciences, Mathematics and Physical Sciences, Medicine, Social and Historical Sciences.

UCL Foundation programs are academic preparation programs for international students who have completed their education outside the UK and do not have sufficient academic degrees to directly start UCL’s undergraduate programs, or who want to prepare for undergraduate education in selected universities from the UK with a 1-year intensive study. Depending on the subject in which students want to study, 2 different Foundation programs are offered: UCL University Preparatory Certificate for Science and Engineering and UCL University Preparatory Certificate for the Humanities. UCL also provides students with accommodation in their dormitories during their education.
