About the University

LSBU has 3 campuses. Southwark, the main campus, is situated in Elephant and Castle and it is only within walking distance to the London Underground (known as the tube) and a short walk or bus ride from some of the best places in the city. Business and heath related courses are provided at Croydon Campus, and the teaching for nursing courses is delivered at Havering Campus.

At LBSU, students can benefit from the cutting edge facilities at Elephant Studios, which include soundstage, grading suites, innovative news room, grading and editing suites, and industry-ready film and photographic studios. Edric Theatre, the university’s dedicated performance space, is an ideal location for music, dance and theatre performances. The university also has Digital Architecture and Robotic Lab which has been designed for high-quality research as well as the development of enterprise projects in field of digital manufacturing.

LSBU was named University of the Year for Graduate Employment by the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2018 and recognised as “Entrepreneurial University of the Year” at the 2016 Times Higher Education Awards.
