About the University
Located in the New Cross district in the south-east of London, the university has 10,000 students, including approximately 2000 international and 4500 postgraduate students. The university provides undergraduate and graduate education in the faculties of Anthropology, Cultural Studies, Graphic Design, Performing Arts, Education, Music, History, Sociology, Politics, Psychology and Media and Communication and is especially strong in the field of social sciences. Additionally, Goldsmiths’ Department of Anthropology has been named one of the best in Europe, ranking 3rd in The Guardian in 2011.
